How quickly can you carry out a damp survey?
We can usually arrange a survey within a few working days, and often sooner for urgent problems such as active dry rot or a property sale on a deadline. Call 07850 123302 and we'll find the earliest slot that suits you.
What should I have ready before you visit?
Access to the affected walls helps, so moving furniture away in advance saves time. If you have a surveyor's report, photos of the problem at its worst, or details of previous damp work and guarantees, please have those to hand. Access to lofts, cellars and under-floor voids is useful too.
Do you offer emergency call outs?
Damp is rarely a same-hour emergency, but active dry rot spreads quickly and should be inspected urgently. If you suspect dry rot, call us on 07850 123302 and we'll prioritise your visit.

Is the survey really free?
Yes — the survey and written quotation are free with absolutely no obligation. The only exception is where a formal specialist damp report is required for a mortgage lender or legal purposes, which is a chargeable service we'll always agree with you in advance.
Can I send photos instead of booking a visit?
Photos are a great starting point and often let us give you a decent steer by phone or email. However, damp can't be properly diagnosed from a picture alone — moisture readings and an inspection of the building's construction are what separate rising damp from condensation or a simple leak.
